Countryside homestead “Bebrynė prie Luodžio” (The Beavers land at Luodis lake) is situated about 140km from Vilnius, amidst a pine forest in the regional park Gražutė by the lake Luodis (in the vicinity of a small town Salakas, the Zarasai District). A newly made asphalt road leads down right to the homestead.

Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association awarded our homestead with the highest evaluation of storks. In 2010 November 11 there was competition “Countryside Tourism Homestead of Lithuania” organised by Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association where countryside homestead “Bebrynė prie Luodžio” was awarded for the architectural character created by nowadays means and for the environment adapted to calm family relaxation.

The homestead consists of a dwelling-house with a spacious conference room for 24 persons, big cosy fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, 2 showers, 2 WC, 3 bedrooms (for 12 persons), 2 semi-detached cabins (each for 4 persons) with a small fireplace, kitchenette, shower, bedroom, WC and guest room, and sauna by the lake.

The homestead offers numerous outdoor terraces and stone fireplaces. You will also find here a traditional fish or meat smoking furnace and rowboats. The homestead is situated on the fifth biggest lake in Lithuania named Luodis with two large islands. A beautiful small town Salakas, old jewish cemetery, spectacular stone church of Holy Virgin Mary (1911), Big Pine of Salakas, bikeways are within a short distance. In this quiet location your only neighbours will be beavers, deer, elks, ducks, swans, cranes, etc.

Close to the homestead there is a cycle road that was built by the regional park of Gražutė. In 2008 project “With the Bicycle Through Regional Park of Gražutė (the Grand (45km) and the Minor (37km) Tracks of Gražutė)” have won the award as the most successful project in the infrastructure of tourism.
